“The Umbrian district of the fashion industry – underlines Marco Cardinalini, president of the Textile-Clothing Section of Confindustria Umbria, which associates the main companies in the sector present in the region – represents a reality that has consolidated and repositioned over the last twenty years investing on the territory and on training. Innovation, craftsmanship and training are the key terms through which to interpret our District, which enjoys an undisputed international recognition. All this is here – adds Cardinalini – the formula that allowed this group of companies to resist the crisis and grow on foreign markets, focusing on quality and made in Italy. In particular, the issue of training is very dear to us, our companies need young people who want to direct their training and work towards this sector. For this reason, with the colleagues of the textile industry of Confindustria Umbria, we have set up a stable relationship with the local educational institutes for a project aimed at creating educational and vocational guidance initiatives, supporting technical-professional education, for innovation of school curricula and improvement of students’ employment prospects “.<\/p>\n
