MANIFATTURE CESARI – FLORENCE GROUP
Manifatture Cesari was founded in 1988 thanks to the entrepreneurial vision of Stefano Romolini and Erika Cesari. Today, it is part of the Florence Group and stands as a center of excellence in jersey manufacturing, managing all production phases in-house: from initial design to garment construction, and on to final decoration. The group is structured into three operational units: two dedicated to garment assembly and one focused on decoration techniques such as embroidery, appliqués, rhinestones, and other premium detailing.
What sets Manifatture Cesari apart is its continuous attention to the elasticity of the fabric, a key value that drives every technical and stylistic decision. This principle is interpreted and developed by a young, highly specialized team capable of operating advanced technological tools with the goal of transforming ideas into prototypes quickly without compromising precision.
The company carefully selects its materials, subjecting them to strict quality checks. Its processes alternate between traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge experimentation, enabling the creation of complex effects and applications on stretch fabrics that were unthinkable just a few years ago. This is made possible by the perfect combination of tailoring expertise and mechanical innovation.
Over time, Manifatture Cesari has embarked on a deep digital transformation, positioning itself to meet the demands of a market increasingly focused on speed and quality. A major contribution to this evolution has come from Crea Solution technologies, which have made production more efficient and advanced.
In particular, the Survey Fabric platform has revolutionized the cutting phase: through an artificial vision system mounted on single-ply cutting machines, it is now possible to detect the exact position of printed patterns directly on the fabric, identify notches and contours, and execute the cut entirely automatically without human intervention. The cut parts come out flawless and ready for assembly, with no further manual trimming required.
But that’s not all: Crea Solution’s artificial vision system is also employed in cutting panel, plaid, and striped fabrics, recognizing and perfectly aligning patterns to ensure continuous and precise cutting an essential feature in high-end garment production.
In this balance between refined craftsmanship and smart automation, Manifatture Cesari stands as a virtuous example of how tradition and innovation can coexist, contributing to the growth of a textile industry that is increasingly sophisticated and forward-looking.
Our four companies, now joining the Florence Group, operate in perfect synergy thanks to fully integrated processes. With over 100 team members and a total production space of around 7,000 square meters, we rely on a solid, well-structured organization ready to tackle new challenges.
We are excited to begin this journey of integration with the other companies in the Group, sharing skills, experiences, and a common vision to grow together. This union represents a valuable opportunity for us to expand our potential, further improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of our services.
A key milestone in this evolution has been the introduction of an advanced AI-based artificial vision system, capable of recognizing and automatically placing patterns on the fabric. Since implementing this technology, our workflows have become faster and more accurate, with virtually zero margin of error. It’s a major step toward a future of production that is increasingly automated, reliable, and competitive.
