      Xacus is globally recognized as one of the leading benchmarks in the men’s shirting industry.       One of Xacus’s main goals was to increase efficiency throughout the production cycle while also significantly reducing fabric waste. Two major challenges stood out: managing defects in fabric rolls and aligning patterns on complex fabrics like stripes and checks. In shirting, it’s common to encounter imperfections in fabric rolls that, if not detected early, can compromise the final product. Before adopting Crea Solution’s technology, quality control occurred only after cutting, leading to unnecessary waste of material, time, and resources.

      A similar issue occurred with striped and checked fabrics. To achieve the perfect pattern matching that Xacus is known for, extra fabric had to be cut and every piece finished by hand to meet the brand’s high-quality standards. This approach led to a significant amount of waste. Xacus needed a solution that not only solved these challenges but also automated and scaled its custom-made (MTM) process.

      That’s why Xacus chose to integrate Crea Solution’s automated systems into its production line systems capable of managing both patterned fabric cutting and the entire made-to-measure workflow. The process begins with the customer’s measurements being entered into a dedicated portal. From there, the system automatically generates and adjusts the model with millimetric precision. The same automation applies to the placement phase, even when working with complex fabrics like stripes and checks.

      At the heart of this transformation is a combination of computer vision and advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. The system scans the fabric in detail, identifying even the smallest defects or creases. In real time, it adjusts the model placement to avoid flawed areas, using only pristine sections of fabric, which minimizes waste. The cutting is then executed directly on the scanned material, ensuring precision and consistency, with pieces ready for the next step in garment assembly.

      The first major benefit is a drastic reduction in fabric waste: today, Xacus is able to utilize nearly 100% of the available fabric, with no need for manual intervention. The entire process from inspection to cutting is powered by intelligent algorithms that optimize material usage. At the same time, production has become significantly faster. There’s no longer any need for manual adjustments to custom models, defect detection, or pattern alignment everything happens automatically, speeding up delivery times as well.

      This tailored automation has been a decisive step for Xacus. It has eliminated human error and ensured consistent quality, shirt after shirt.
